The Lilac Fragrance of Lovech

	Lovech is the capital of the Province of Lovech. Its flag is purple, and bears the so called coat of arms in gold. The emblem was designed by Tosho Mihaylov and was adopted during the communist regime. The colour of the flag was chosen because the nickname of Lovech is The Town of Lilacs.

Our school shelters one of the most famous music ensembles in Bulgaria. Founded in 1986 by its conductor Totko Rogashki (also a music teacher in school), Rogband consists of about sixty musicians aged from eleven to twenty.

The repertoire of the orchestra ranges from folk and genre music to classical music and jazz. A very well balanced concert program is one of the reasons why the orchestra always a very warm welcome among most various audiences.

The orchestra has proved to be an attractive, interesting and ambitious ensemble in numerous events and competitions both in Bulgaria and abroad A group of 16 beautiful majorettes march and dance while the orchestra plays, which creates a colourful and cheerful atmosphere at outdoor performances!
